HISTORY OF EAST NEW BRITAIN EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER’S COLLEGE
Founded in 2006 by Mr. Linnus Vairop and Mrs. Joanita Vairop, both professionally trained educators, East New Britain Early Childhood Teacher’s College began its journey as Bismark College. Initially focused on training Primary School Teachers, the college recognized the growing need for specialized Early Childhood Education. This shift led to the introduction of diploma courses in Early Childhood Education. In 2013, the college was officially renamed East New Britain Early Childhood Teacher’s College following a Memorandum of Understanding with the East New Britain Provincial Administration, which pledged support for funding allocations to the institution.
MISSION STATEMENT
At East New Britain Early Childhood Teacher’s College, we are committed to equipping future educators with the skills and knowledge necessary to foster a love for learning in young children.
